Sport complex Varshets

The Sports hall is located on the banks of Botunya river in Varshets exactly next to the stadium. Tribunes with a capacity for about 730 spectators are provided.

Multifunctional sports hall with dimensions 36/47.50m, of which 30/47.50m is the sports field and Swimming pool as part of the gym, measuring 25/12.50 m.

Sport fields are intended mainly for volleyball, basketball, handball, tennis, but the project allows the use of the hall for many other sport types and events.

The necessary service rooms are also included - changing rooms with lockers, gym, recreation center and medical office.

Eco-trail Byalata voda

Eco-trail "Varshets - hut Byalata voda": The length of the whole route is about 7 km Duration - 2:30 min Medium difficulty No special equipment is needed The first part of the route leads to "Ivanchova Polyana" and is suitable for the little ones, as the alley is paved and allows a stroller ride. The trail starts from the "Bridge of Sighs", which symbolically separates the "Sunny Garden", the two Mineral Baths and the Bansko Casino from the City Park of Varshets. The eco-trail will offer you an easy and pleasant transition amidst beautiful nature, crystal clear air and the scent of herbs and berries. Almost imperceptibly you will reach "Ivanchova Polyana", which is located on the highest point of the park at 454 m above the sea level and connects it with the ancient forests of the Koznishki part of the Balkan Mountains. 5 minutes from "Ivanchova Polyana" on a dirt road you reach "Mariykina Polyana". The meadow is surrounded by pine and beech-hornbeam forest. On the dirt road in the pine forest, follow the strip markings (blue / white) after another 15-20 minutes you will reach the area "Raiski Kut". There are many tables, benches, relaxation areas and a barbecue. Further on, the trail passes through a beech forest, parallel to the bed of the Bashtitsa River, where you can see a squirrel, a goldfinch, a wild rabbit and representatives of the birds; owl, diurnal birds of prey, woodpeckers - black, green, great spotted, woodpecker, cuttlefish, mason, etc. You will pass through the natural habitats of the red deer, typical for the region. The path crosses an asphalt road, also leading to the hut. In about 30 minutes you will reach it. Keep in mind that the hut is not working, so provide food and drinks for the transition. The hut is located at 774 m above the sea level in a beautiful wooded area, at the foot of Chervenata Kukla peak (Cherveni kamik) 1051 m high. From the hut a marked path leads to the ridge of the Koznishki part of Stara Planina and to Proboynitsa hut (3: 30 hours). To the east through the village of Druzhevo you reach the hut. Parshevitsa for 5-6 hours. Through Todorini Kukli Peak, Petrohan Pass and Kom Peak you reach the Com hut for 8-9 hours. There is also 8 km long asphalt road to the hut. To get there by car, turn left (at the Sports Hall) from the main road Varshets-Zanojene. Take in mind that the road after the Sport hall is in poor condition.

Eco-trail Varshets - Zanozhene - Minkovi Bani - Klisura Monastery The length of the entire route is about 10 km Duration - 3 hours Difficulty - Medium No special equipment required The route is suitable for hiking and biking. From the center of Varshets by asphalt road you can reach Zanozhene district. The eco-trail itself starts from the end of the neighborhood, next to the cemetery and the Yanchovite Koshari area. From there, a field road passes along the southwestern slope of the Chukata ridge. In the past completely bare, now it is afforested with coniferous tree species: white and black pine, silver fir, Siberian and European larch, etc. In several places with a nice view of the mountain there are shelters with barbecue, where you can have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the southernmost part of the Varshets valley, the whole northeastern slope of "Koznitsa" with ridges and parts of the peak "Todorini kukli ”to“Cherveni kamik”. From "Chukata" the road to "Minkovi Bani" passes through meadows and pastures overgrown with ferns and grassy vegetation. At an elevation of 400 m to the west is a mineral spring with a water temperature of 25 degrees. In the lowest part the path passes under the wall of a micro dam on the river "Rakovitsa" and reaches "Minkovi Bani". 250 m far away of them is the mineral spring, which is captured. From "Minkovi Bani" you can reach the village of Spanchevtsi by asphalt road. From the center of the village you turn left on the main road in the direction of Berkovitsa and at the end of the village you turn left again on Biloto Street. Following the markings you will pass through an open area, then a deciduous forest. The end point of the eco-trail is the Klisura Monastery - the fourth largest and one of the most beautiful monasteries in Bulgaria. Along the route there are three centuries-old oaks, as well as extensive lowland pastures, separate forests of black and white alder.

Electric bicycles for rent

EcoBike S3 is a powerful electric bike designed for fans of extreme riding through mountainous, hilly terrain and for long distances. With it you can develop a higher speed and climb steep sections without unnecessary loads.
